Online Tax Preparation Tool

The City of Centerville is again offering an on-line tax calculating tool for local income taxes. This is an easy tool to calculate and prepare your City tax return for filing with the tax office. At this time, we are not able to offer electronic filing (the tax return and applicable attachments still need to be submitted to the Tax Office).

To access the site, each taxpayer will need the PIN that was included with your mailed tax forms. Your PIN is the Account # printed on the tax form you received in the mail, excluding the "1- or 2-". For example, the PIN for the Account #1-999999 is 999999. Please contact the Tax Department with questions concerning this process or any other city tax issue.

New Public Works Facility Progress

The City's current Public Works facility is located at 7970 South Suburban Road and houses the following Public Works Divisions: Administration, Engineering, Streets, Refuse, Horticulture, and Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance.

The structure on the existing site will be demolished to make room for the new facility.  The new facility will include office space for administrative staff, conditioned and unconditioned garage space, vehicle maintenance bays, a vehicle wash bay, a new 3000 ton capacity salt storage building, and a gasoline and diesel fueling station.  This project will incorporate many environmentally friendly “green” features, and will provide a much safer and efficient work environment for public works employees.  The project is estimated to cost $6,000,000 and construction should begin in mid-May.
